passports and shots.

hello friends.

while i am in the wonderful country of vietnam, i will be communicating with you all through mostly blogs and emails. i will try and update this as often as possible, depending on the internet situation there.

in case you didn't already know, i am going to vietnam. the trip will consist of teaching english to middle school/high school students for 4 weeks. i can hardly wait! ah... i dream of this.

i leave for LA on june 27th to prepare for this adventure with my team. then i will board a plane to 'nam a few days later. as of now, i am preparing for the trip. doing little things such as recieving my passport, filling out paperwork, getting shots, etc.

if you are reading this (which you obviously are), i just ask that if you think about it, you would lift up this trip and the work that will be done over there. He is going to do some really great things. :)

thanks for reading. you are all wonderful.

in his love,
mal

p.s. you have to watch this... it is the cutest thing
i have ever witnessed. (thanks suz)

i can't believe it will be nearly 2 months before we see each other, but we'll make up for lost time, most definitely. :)

I was uhh catching up on a little literature and found this quote by C.S. Lewis (im a friggin nerd)... "Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil."
Seemed fitting to your circumstances.
Don't get lost in translation, no pun intended. Love first, teach second. :]
